We had such a great Christmas this year!! We were able to spend it with family which was so fun!! We headed up to Idaho on Thurs the 22 and it was so cold!! We are getting used to the desert so having temperatures below zero was a huge shock for us!! Friday we woke up and the kids were so excited to have grandma and papa to play with :) They decorated sugar cookies and Jac made some extra special ones for Santa. The kids of course had to play outside in the little bit of snow my parents had. I'm sure glad these two have my dad wrapped around their little fingers because even though it was freezing he took them outside for a little bit :) Friday afternoon we headed into go bowling and out to dinner for my sisters bday. It was lots of fun! It was so fun seeing my adorable nephew Jaxon again!!! Jac loves bowling so she was so excited so be able to show everybody that she could do it all by herself. After we had dinner my parents took Jac and Boe back to their house and Trav and I had our first night without the kids since Jac was born! It was so much fun!! We stayed at the Destinations Inn which is a themed hotel and we stayed in the Congo room :) Oh man it was a much needed night and I cant wait to have another night away! A HUGE thanks to my parents for watching the kids!!

Saturday once we made it back to my parents house we got food made and hung out. We had an amazing dinner that night (prime rib, salad, rolls, potatoes...). It was so tasty!!! Christmas Eve was so much fun and Jac was so excited to leave cookies and milk out for Santa! She was seriously so much fun this year! Both my sisters were able to come out and it was so fun hanging out with them! I seriously cant wait to live closer to them!!

It was so much fun to watch the kids get so excited over everything!!! We are a delicious breakfast of biscuits and gravy and got all loaded up and headed to Utah to spend some time with Travs family. We had so much fun down there!!! We had an amazing dinner of a Cajun boil. So yummy!! We opened gifts down there and it was great! Cathy always makes the kids jammies for Christmas and they are always so so cute!! Boe also got a gun and a really cool car and Jac got some puzzles and a game (which we play everyday). Trav got a gun cleaning kit and I got some kitchen stuff including a really cool grill pan. We also got a calendar with pics of animals and the really cool thing about it is one of the pics in there is a pic of a caribou that Jim shot!! It was so funny because Jim kept saying look at the April pic and all I kept saying is ya I know its a caribou and had no idea why we were supposed to be looking at it. Trav thought it looked like his dads but didn't realize it was really his till a little later too :)
Monday we went up to Hardware Ranch to see if there were any elk down yet and there were a few but they were kinda far away so we just went into the visiting center and Boe was in heaven! He was seriously running making laps so excited to see all the animals. He would have stayed there all day if we let him :) That afternoon all the adults went to the movies. We saw Sherlock holmes and it was pretty good! It was nice to be able to relax without the kids :)
Tuesday all the boys went for a ride to go look for animals (their favorite thing to do) and all the girls and kids just hung out. Jac and Boe love to play with their cousins so much! We played the candy bar game that night which is always fun and all the kids just like it because they get candy :)
Wed we had to come back home. It was such a good good Christmas this year and so much fun spending it was our families!! Its so weird cuz we dont know when we will be back up that way but with as much traveling as we seem to do I bet it wont be too long, i hope :)
