Jacie is 4!!!!

On May 12 Jacie bug turned 4!!  SHe has been so excited for her birthday and we have been counting down the last few weeks.  Usually the first thing she said every morning was how many more sleeps till my bday :)

Anyways I always let my kids choose whatever they want for their birthday breakfast and this year Jac chose German pancakes, or the pancakes with snow on them :)  and of course since it was her bday she got to eat them while watching a movie in the living room.  After we had breakfast she opened the presents from us and she got some coloring things, a piggy bank, a little gum ball machine, and a movie.  

The highlight of this year was having Jacie's first real friend party!  It was so much fun!  Kinda crazy but lots of fun :)  We had like 14 little kids over so it was loud and crazy but Jac was in heaven!  For the theme this year we had a circus party!  We played clown, clown, lion (just like duck, duck, goose), pin the nose on the clown, midway games (ring toss, throwing a beanbag at cans to knock them over, and throwing balls through shapes), and had a circus obstacle course where the kids had to walk the tightrope, jump through a ring of fire, and roar like a lion.  For food we had cupcakes, ice cream, circus peanuts, animal crackers, and mini caramel apples.  Everything went pretty smoothly except while we were playing clown, clown, lion a little boy was trying to sit down fast and bumped Jac in the nose and gave her a bloody nose.  Poor thing!!  Luckily Tra was here to help get her all cleaned up and she was ready to party on no time!

After her party we let her choose where she wanted to go to lunch and of course she picked Burger King.  One of her favorite places, probably just because there is a slide :)

After Burger King we had a couple errands to run then we came home and had the kids take naps because that night we had Jacie's preschool graduation/end of the year celebration.  It was lots of fun!  We had a yummy potluck dinner and hung out.  Then all the kids sang some of the songs they learned this last year at school.  They sang their days of the week song, months of the year, and an alphabet song.  Then they each got a little scrapbook of this past year.  

I can not believe my little girl is already four!  She is such a good helper around the house, especially with Boe and Pais!  She is a great big sister and loves to play with her siblings.  She is such a smart girl and loves to learn!  She knows all her letters and sounds, numbers, colors, and shapes.  She is wanting to read so bad so we are going to be working on that this summer.  She is great at counting and loves to count everything!!!    She loves to draw and color and is a pretty good artist!  Her favorite color is pink and favorite food is fruits and vegetables.  We sure love our Jacie bug!!
