So Christmas day we headed up to my parents house! The kids were so excited to go see them and show them that Santa brought them a puppy :) We got up there are opened more presents and we had so much fun playing with all of our new Christmas gifts!! This year Pais got some clothes, books, a couple little toys, and diapers. Boe got clothes, Thomas the train toy, puzzles, bear slippers, a board game, Dr Dreadful Laboratory, A couple little toys, and movies. Jac got stuff for her doll house, a polly pocket, board games, movies, clothes, kitchen stuff, and a couple little toys. Trav and I got a couple movies, lots of stuff for food storage and our 72 hour kits, slippers, money, new dishes, some hunting stuff/tags (trav) a super cute skirt (that trav picked out for me. I was impressed he got such a cute skirt) :) and a few other random things. It was a good Christmas and we were so lucky to spend it with our families!!!!
The next couple days were so nice!! We were just able to spend time relaxing and hanging out and playing with our new toys. It was amazing! Thursday my sister and her little boy came out and we went swimming and that was so much fun!! My kids love the water and so did my nephew. It was his first time in a big pool and he was so happy!
My kids loved playing in the snow (Jacie more then Boe) and taking the puppy on walks. It was so funny to see Jac trying to walk the puppy. It will be even funnier in a couple months when the puppy is lots bigger and stronger :) Saturday was so much fun! We went sledding with tons of my cousins. My kids were freezing and tired so they were kinda grouchy but it was still lots of fun. Boe was so tired he actually fell asleep while my mom was holding him waiting to go down the hill :) So he got to go sledding while he was sleeping . haha
We went to church with my mom on Sunday then that afternoon we headed back to Utah to spend New Years with Trav family. We really wanted to see his sister and her family one more time too because they moved to TN this last year and so we hadnt seen them since May and who know when we will be able to see them again! For New Years Eve we all went out to lunch then went sledding! Once again it was cold but still fun. That night we played games (Sardines and button button who has the button). Playing Sardines in the dark with lots of little kids was pretty entertaining and fun! We celebrated New years at like 10 or something with the kids then put them to bed and all the adults watched a movie. (or slept through it :)) I cant not stay awake for movies to save my life so I fell asleep before midnight. Oh well though.
Tues we got up and got all packed, hung out a while then came home! It was such a fun trip but oh so nice to be home!!!
