Jac was so excited for St Patricks Day this year we had a countdown going all week! It's so fun now that she can remember stuff from last year and get everybody excited :) The night before we built a leprechaun trap because last year one came and pulled all kinds of tricks on us. Jac put lots of glitter on it because they like shiny things and drew pics and rainbows and pots of gold to put on our trap. She wanted to make it not look like a trap so she also cut green strips of paper so he would think it was just grass :)
The next morning Jac was so excited to wake up and check her trap and that dang leprechaun tricked us again! Somehow he got away but he left behind chocolate coins, cookies, and green shampoo and nail polish. He also played a couple tricks on us such as dying our milk green and making all the toilet water green. Jac thought it was pretty funny!!
We had green shamrock pancakes for breakfast and of course green milk. I love being able to dye the kids food and it makes it ten times cooler and they eat so much!! It was fun to celebrate and hopefully next year we can catch this tricky leprechaun!
