our 4th of July weekend!!

Just to warn you now this post is going to have about a million pics!!! Our weekend was so much fun!!! We left here on the 2nd (travs bday) and went down to Utah. We didnt do much Thurs night because we didnt get down there till late. Friday morning Travis got up really early and went on a pack trip with his dad and his friend Justin. They went to scout some areas for hunting this fall. Jacie and I slept in a a little longer :) Once we woke up Teri called us and told us they were boating and asked us if we wanted to go and of course we wanted to! I havent been skiing in so long but I actually got up and it was a blast!!!

After we went boating we went back to Jim and Cathys house and hung out. Friday night we went to Logan to watch the fireworks. They were super good! My sisters were able to come down so it was fun to see them! Last year Jacie liked the fireworks but we were a little nervous for her this year but she did awesome! She got a little nervous at first but once she got used to the noise she liked them, until she fell asleep :)

Saturday we got up and hung out for a bit then headed up to Idaho to spend some time with my family and watch the fireworks up there. Travis came back from his pack trip and we were sure excited to see him, especially Jacie she is such a daddys girl!! Every year there is a huge party at my parents house on the 4th! It was so fun to see all my family! We made some rootbeer and Jacie loved it! She kept going over to the cooler and trying to get more out. It was pretty funny.

My dad knows some people that are over fighting in Iraq. We are so thankful for all they do over there! One of his friends gave him a flag that was flown over there so in honor of all the men and women in the armed forces we flew that flag.

We had so many fireworks at my parents house! Some of my relatives brought so much! It was awesome. Then as we were lighting our fireworks some tourists that were camping at the campground below my parents house brought up a ton of fireworks!! They said the cops told them they could shoot off any illegal fireworks but they noticed we were doing it so they told us maybe we could get away with it since we were locals :) They brought us about $1,300 worth of fireworks! It was crazy but so much fun!!

After all the fireworks (which went on for a while) we crashed into bed and we were all so tired! We got up on Sunday and went to church then headed back home. On the way home Travis hit a bird and it got stuck in the grill of the truck. Nasty! Jacie was so excited to be home and to play with all of her toys. We miss everybody and cant wait to see you all again!!!!
