What a fun Halloween!!

We had such a fun Halloween! And the cutest trick or treater in the world!! This year Jacie really got into it and loved putting on her chicken costume or as she called it her bawk. She would bring it to me all the time yelling bawk bawk! We got two nights of trick or treating. Friday night here in town they do a trick or treat on main street and the kids can go to all the stores and get candy. Jacie was unsure of what to do at first but after a couple stores she totally got it! She had to walk the entire time and she had to hold her candy basket no matter how heavy it got. She would run from store to store holding up her basket asking 'please' or 'trick treat.' She was so funny because she noticed the people had a big bowl of candy but would only give a piece or two so she would stand and look at them wanting more till I told her to run to the next store. She loved it! Jacie sure takes after me in having a sweet tooth :)

Saturday we went around to a few places and we entered Jacie in a costume contest for fun and she won first place!! I wasn't too surprised with how cute she looked :) Saturday night we had a chili/hot dog dinner at our church and a trunk or treat. Jacie was so excited to get more candy! She knew just what to do! After we left the church we stopped at a few of our neighbor's houses and since most people up here just do the trunk or treats they loaded Jacie up with candy and suckers! We counted and she ended up with 16 tootsie pops (that's not counting all the other suckers she got). What a lucky girl, should should I say what a lucky mom :) Our cute little chicken!The pizza place in town gives pizza away instead of candy! Jacie was so excited!
