We decided to do a advent calendar this year where each day we get to do some kind of activity or craft. The kids are LOVING it!! They get so excited to wake up each day and open the envelope to see what we get to do that day. It is a fun way to celebrate all month long and keep us busy :) Some of the things we have done this month are, Act out the nativity, have a hot chocolate bar complete with homemade marshmallows, go on the 'polar express' (our van) to look at CHristmas lights, have a Grinch party (watched the movie, had grinch punch, and roast beast &who pudding for dinner, donate toys to others, made snowflake crafts, made Christmas goodies, gingerbread houses, sleep under the Christmas tree, Ward party, Jacies school party, made snowman crafts, and lots more!! It was so fun to think of things to do because I knew how much these kids would love it!! Here are a few pics of some of our adventures!
