This summer has been really hot so I have been trying to find new ways to keep the kids entertained while staying inside. I found a few ideas on Pinterest that sounded like fun but they ended up being more of a huge mess then anything else. Oh well my kids had fun and it kept them entertained for a while :)
The first thing we tried was writing letters in flour. Jac was loving this and doing a really good job then Boe came over and after that it was just a mess! They found it was more fun to get flour all over!! They were covered so was the floor!! Next time we will definitely be going outside to do this!! No joke by the end they were making snow angels in the flour on the floor! But it kept them entertained for quite a while so its ok :)
Our next craft was making oobeck which is corn starch and water. Its cool because if you play with it and mix it around it is a solid but the second you quit it turns into a liquid. Jac played with this stuff for almost an hour!!!
